He was predeceased by: his sister Nasamani (Rajadurai); his parents, Thirunjanasampanthar and Theivannapillai; and his parents-in-law, Panumathi and Muthukumaru.
He is survived by: his wife Sakunthala; his children, Kiritharan (Elisabeth), Sivatharan (Jalaja) and Kowsalai (Thavaratnam); and his grandchildren, Jonathan, Katrina, Khavin and Kharsha.
The family asks that any memorial donations be made to the Mackenzie Hospital foundation.
