She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Lyn and Neuk Keow Chin; and her brother Edward Lyn. She is survived by: her brother Moses Easton Lyn; her husband Simon Sylvester Shim; her children, Francis, Gregory and Rory; her parents-in-law, Don Ryner, Sharon Hunter and Magdalene Furukawa; and her grandchildren, Laila, Erika, Mariko and Satomi.
