It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Salwa Zohny (Markham, Ontario), who passed away on May 1, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Sami El-Sharouny. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Johnson (Kristopher Johnson) and Rafik El-Sharouny (Mayra Gil); her grandson Karim El-Sharouny; her sister Nagwa Boctor (Salem Boctor); her niece Nermine Mikhail (Phil Mikhail); her great-nieces, Gabriella and Emma; her nephew Mark Mikhail; her niece Nadine Soliman (Mina Soliman); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Melania and Mariam.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St Mark's Coptic Orthodox Church (41 Glendinning Ave, Scarborough, ON M1W3E2).
