She was predeceased by : her parents, Enos Witmer and Hannah Witmer (Wenger); her siblings, Grace, Elvin, Vesta, Ralph, Owen, Elmer, Daniel, James, Homer, Esther and Marjorie; and also Elmer.

She is survived by : her children, Joanna (Andrew), James (Sheila), Eugene (Julie), Edward, Richard (Carolyn) and Robert; and her grandchildren, Martin, Allan, Denise, Justin, John, Laila, Noura, Lukas, Ellen, Alex, Ben, Jeremy, Curtis, Peter and Meredith. She is also survived by thirteen children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
