He is survived by: his wife Annunziata "Nunzi"; his daughters, Elizabeth "Lisa" (Bill) and Rosa (Daren); his grandchildren, Steffan "Stefano", Wesley "Wesli", Valerie "Valeria", Laura (Logan), Andrea (Michael), Thomas and Leo; and his sisters, Maria and Francesca.

In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations can be made in Vito's memory to Villa Leonardo Gambin; or as Vito believed that everyone deserved to live in dignity and be able to enjoy a meal, donations can also be made to the Toronto Daily Bread Food Bank.
