He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his daughters, Pam (Greg Gerald) and Heather (Trevor Taylor); his grandchildren, Reilly, Tyler, Ainsley Gerald, Hannah and Sarah Taylor; his sister Lynda; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Conlon (Al) of Kenora, Ontario..

In lieu of flowers, any donations to the Alzheimer's Society or Markham-Stouffville Hospital are appreciated by the family.

“knew Wayne through my mom Val as she worked for Wayne and Dave for 15-20yrs maybe a bit more. Every time I would call or come into the office Wayne always greeted me and made me feel great as he was always happy and had a smile on his face. I know with Wayne gone now I know my mom is feeling and missing a part of her, just like this family. He was very proud of his wife kids and grandkids.
