Viola Portelance Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on March 15, 2022, at the age of 91, Viola Portelance of Markstay, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her children, Ronald, Shirley (Joey Rienguette) and Johnny; her granddaughter Tanya; her parents, Dan McGillis and Natalie McGillis (Kirwan); and her siblings, Allen and Leona Plante (Norm).
She is survived by: her spouse Rene Portelance; her children, Rick (Paula), Delina Boivin (Rheal), Colette Troscinski (late Eugene), Gerry (Laurie) and Jeanny Lafrance (Dan); and her siblings, Marion Gamache (Gerry), Finley, Stanley (Bernadette), Delina, Lillian, Malcolm, Margerite Pigeau (Jim), Christina Ranta (late Robert) and Carmen Boivin (late Rick). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren, many loving nieces, nephews.
