He was predeceased by: his parents, Wenzel Schwarz and Elfriede Schwarz; and his mother-in-law Anna Unruh. He is survived by: his wife Alida; his daughters, Angela (Mark), Victoria (Mike) and Sandra (Fernando); his grandchildren, Jake (Yoohee), Aaron (Morgan), Emily (Nick) and Meghan; and his great grandchildren, Lillian and Parker.
Gunther and Alida were able to travel to many places throughout the world before and after their retirement until COVID.
