He was predeceased by : his parents, Daniel Martin and Hanna Martin; his former life partner Erma Martin; his daughter-in-law Alma Martin; his grandson Stanley Martin; and his siblings, Adeline Fry (Levi), Sarah Weber (Seranus), Melinda Sauder (Ivan), Annie Martin, Urias Martin (Lucinda), Ephriam Martin, Sidney Martin, Velina Martin and David Martin.

He is survived by : his wife Ada Martin; his sons, Ervin Martin (Sarah) of Massey, Stuart Martin (Anna) of Massey, Elvin Martin (Loreen) of Mount Forest, John Bauman (Susanna) of Massey and Eli Martin (Alissa) of Moorefield; and his siblings, Selina Martin (Simon), Valina Martin, Ammon Martin (Sarah), Minerva Martin and Oziah Martin (Emma). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
