With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Dejay Southwind (Massey, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 9, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Thomas farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Thomas is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jessica Southwind (Mailloux); his children, Jaylyn, Jase, June and Jessi; his parents, Sandra Southwind and Wayne Southwind of Sagamok Anishnawbek; his siblings, Rheal Eshkakogan (Candace), Dawn (John), Rose, Allan (Alana) and Mason; and his close friend Jessica.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Greg and Cindy Gibson’s lot (210 Meredith St., Massey, ON).
