He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip MacDonald and Marybelle MacDonald; and his siblings, Hugh (late Bernice), Norma Pulfer (late Arnold), Hazel Casgrain (late Noel), Roseal Bentley (late Jim) and Phyllis McDonnell (late John Francis).
He is survived by: his wife Noella MacDonald; his child Shawn MacDonald (Lorraine); his stepson William Clark (late Karin Doherty); his grandchildren, Adam MacDonald (Lisa) and Katie Aquino (Mike); and his great grandchildren, Aubrey and Aniston Aquino. He is also survived by many nieces and one nephew.
