He was predeceased by: his father Don Laplante. He is survived by: his children, Dorothy Laplante Williamstown (Martin Rose), Charlie Laplante Williamstown (Britney) and Andrew Laplante Kingston (Megan Smith); his grandchildren, Brayden, Charlotte, Jacob, Hudson and Evelyn; his mother Margaret Laplante Long Sault (MacDonald) of Grants Corner; and his siblings, Donna McBean Long Sault (Earl), Cathy Wasson Ennismore (Terry), Brenda Courtney Orangeville (Don), Brent Laplante Summerstown (Natalie) and Ian Laplante Williamstown (Kelley Ferguson) of Maxville. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews.
