She was predeceased by: her husbands, Norman Shorey and Dalton Lynch; her siblings, Esther, Janice Benton, Arthur Benton (Gwen) of Hamilton Island, Allan Benton, Donnie Benton (Pauline) of Cornwall and Burns Benton (Joan) of Picton; and her parents, John D Benton and Violet Benton.

She is survived by: her children, Debi Mohan of Toronto, Ken, Doug Lynch of Belleville, Michael Lynch of Halifax and Alison Shorey; her grandchildren, Stephen Mohan (Siobhan) of Toronto, Hayley Lynch (Josh) of Belleville, Mackenzie Lynch (Jeff) of Ottawa, Reghan Lynch of New Jersey, Dylan Shorey (Burlington), Mya Lynch, Malachi Mohan, Wyatt and Emery Woodland; and her siblings, Bill Benton (Jackie) of Martintown, Margaret Dickson (Edwin) of Maxville, Dwayne Benton (Sandy) of Apple Hill, Bryce Benton (Mary) of Cherry Valley and Lynne MacDonald (Barry) of Maxville.
