He was predeceased by : his wife Edith Parks; his siblings, Henry, Bruce, Myrtle and Dorothy; and his parents, Joseph Parks and Evelyn Parks.

He is survived by : his children, Nancy Parks, Linda Caron, Gary Parks, Bob Parks (Tammy), Rick Parks and David Parks (Tracie); his grandchildren, Tonya, Aaron, Lisa, Michael, Ashley, Scott, Matt, Megan, Jordan, Courtney, Hayleigh, Faith, Owen, Peter (Kourtnee), Katelynn, Beth-Anne, Paul, Kristen and Kyle (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Riley, Curtis, Sarah, Adrian, Hailey, Dawn, Jayden, Brently, Austin, Kevin, Brooklyn, Jaxon, Raina, Arianna and Alice; his close friends, Elizabeth Campanelli and Heather Loney; his brother Lawrence; and also Steven Campanelli (Kathryn).
