He was predeceased by: his grandson Keith; his parents, Hugh Sr. Lightbody and Pearl Lightbody (Abbott); and his sister Eleanor. He is survived by: his wife Maxine Lightbody (Dyack); his children, Michael (Marilia), Gabriel and Cynthia (Terry); his grandson Aidan; and his brother Hugh Jr..
