He was predeceased by : his brother Bob; and his brother-in-law Cyril. He is survived by : his children, Randy, Tracie, Ron (Valerie) and Sean (Cori); his grandchildren, Miranda, Josh, Jody, Jeff, Joe, Victoria and Sammy; his great grandchildren, Kevin, Emerson and Royston; his stepchildren, Janice Sangster (Randy), Judy Lamore and James Sutherland (Kathy); his sisters, Connie and Dianne; and his siblings-in-law, Barry (Marylou), Iris (Dave) and Cecil Spence. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Canadian Cancer Society – Relay for Life would be appreciated by the family.
