He is survived by: his significant other Kathleen Kosloski; his children, Tyler (Katie), Tamara (Scott) and Logan Burns (Emily); his granddaughters, Gracie and Isobel Burns; his siblings, Colleen Chislett (Alan), Brenda McMahon (Brian), Michael Burns (Gisele), David Burns (Kathy) and Tully; and his close friend Kathleen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
