He was predeceased by : his sister Hazel Winter. He is survived by : his wife Mary Anne Richards; his children, Helen Hunter (Chris), Christine Jeffery (Glen) and Jonathan Richards (Margaret Brain); his grandchildren, Kyla (Zach), Kelly, Ashley (Zach), Ian, Samuel, James and Courtney; and his great grandchildren, Cooper and Ayla.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Melbourne United Church, or the Guthrie Presbyterian Church, Melbourne gratefully acknowledged.
