She was predeceased by: her husband George Richards; her parents, Daniel McLellan and Elizabeth McLellan; and her brothers, Johnny and James.

She is survived by: her children, Helen Hunter (Chris) of Chatham, Christine Jeffery (Glen) of Melbourne and Jonathan Richards (Margaret Brain) of Melbourne; her grandchildren, Kyla (Zach), Kelly, Ashley (Zach), Ian, Samuel, James and Courtney; and her great grandchildren, Cooper and Ayla.
