He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Fletcher and Betty Fletcher; and his siblings, Jean McFarlane (Don "Gump") and Hugh "Gus" Fletcher. He is survived by: his sister Judith Chamberlain (Jim); and his nieces and nephews, Rob Chamberlain (Wanda), Ed Chamberlain (Deb), JD McFarlane (Ashley), Michael McFarlane (Jess), John Fletcher and Adam Fletcher (Courtney). He is also survived by extended family, friends, caregivers.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Guthrie Presbyterian Church (606 Brook Street, Melbourne). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion (21884 Melbourne Road, Melbourne N0L1T0).
