It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Geraldine Bechard of Merlin, Ontario, born in Tilbury, Ontario, who passed away on March 15, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Eugene Marchand and Leone Marchand; her daughter Karen Bechard; her son-in-law Ron Harper; her siblings, Donald Marchand and Doreen; and her brother-in-law Charles Webb.

She is survived by : her husband Roger; her children, Michelle Harper, Renee Belanger (Russell), Roger E. Bechard, Marcel Bechard (Roxanne), Shawn Bechard (Teresa) and Nanette Magaluk (Jim); and her brothers, Pierre Marchand (Valerie) and Robert Marchand (Sue). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.

Donations made in memory of Geraldine to COPD Canada or Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
