With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Anne MacKinnon-Carlson of Merrickville, Ontario, who passed away on August 18, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Margaret Anne may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Margaret Anne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Rick Carlson; her children, Anastasia and Andrew; and her grandchildren, Leah, Maya and Salem.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a breast cancer charity of your choice in Margie's memory.
