It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanna Zandbelt of Metcalfe, Ontario, who passed away on May 27, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joanna Zandbelt to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband John; her parents, Everardus Groot-Lipman and Everdina Schiphorst; and also, Bernard, Gerrit, Hein, Herman and Anton.
She is survived by: her children, Lidwin Martinez-Cairo (Isauro), Marcel (Kim), Andrew (Mary-Ann), Janet Brodhaecker (Daryl) and Nancy Bachhuber (Jason); her grandchildren, Lori, Carlos, Riley (Erin), Kurtis (Amanda), Michael (Shannon), Lydia (Brad), Emily (Matt), Rachel (Patrick), Matthew (Cassandra), Amy and Spencer; her great grandchildren, Case, Dani, Mae, Tate and Barrett; and her brother Wim.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Daley Family Funeral Home (6971 Bank St, Metcalfe, ON K0A2P0). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Sienna Parish (2718 8th Line Rd, Metcalfe, ON K0A2P0).
