Though Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her father Ryk Blomberg (Richard). She is survived by: her husband Owen Harries; her children, Gregory (Kate) and Gillian (Thomas); her siblings, Patricia (Darryl) and Andrew (Sandra); and her mother Sara Blomberg.

Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nicholls Funeral Home (330 Midland Ave, Midland, ON L4R3K7). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.

The family requests that any donations be given to one of the following organizations that were important to Ann: The Canadian Cancer Society, Knox Presbyterian Church Midland, the Hudson Regional Cancer Centre in Barrie, and Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland.
