She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Cote and Rita Cote (Laurin); her sister Doreen Contois; her sister-in-law Joyce Cote (Collins); her nephew Michael Contois; and her grandson Watson Gray MacIsaac.

She is survived by: her husband Steve Sheba; her children, Justyne (Gordon MacIsaac) and Mimi; her granddaughter Malina MacIsaac; her brother-in-law Frank Contois; her siblings, Nelson Cote (late Joyce), Neil Cote (Debbie Morris), Raymond Cote (Pauline), Peter Cote (Madeleine), Madeline Matheson (Duncan), Katherine Blake (Patrick), Theresa Cote-Lindberg (Jeff), Anita St. Amant (Peter) and Michelle Moore (Simon); her brother-in-law Michael Sheba (Judy); and her friend Darlene (Tunie) Kinney (Neil).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Tomkins House Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
