She was predeceased by: her husband William Peter Prentice. She is survived by: her sons, Russ (Sabrina) and Keith (Katie); her grandchildren, Virra, Ryland, Keiran and Max; her siblings, Bob Willows (Sandra), Judy Stephens and Laura (Raymond); and her friends, Beth Henry, Donna Bruckman and Norma Kerr.

In lieu of flowers and in loving memory of Cathy, the family invites donations to Hospice Huronia – Tomkins House, where the serene environment, unwavering care, and comforting space became "our second home" during her brief stay.
