He is survived by: his sister Patricia; his children, Tara Linn Ruth, Robert Tyler (Hilary Thorpe) and Hilary Thorpe; his grandchildren, Hazel and Arlo; and his nieces and nephews, Kristyn, Alyson, Jan, Charlotte, Kathleen, Kathryn, Jonathan, Garth, Davie, Scott and Bruce.

“I was saddened to learn of the passing of Drummond. Our long time friendship began in September 1956 when we were both enrolled in the temporary high school called the Alcan Theatre in Elliot Lake. This school situation was a unique experience and provided many fond memories. Over the years since then we have been able to stay connected mainly through a number of reunions. I will miss Drum’s friendship and especially his sense of humour. My sincere condolences to his family. Art Brown”
