He is survived by: his wife Margaret (Murphy); his children, Christopher Marte (Laura King) and Kortney (Christopher Paul); his grandsons, Jonathan Marte, Robert Marte and Leo Paul; and his siblings, Kuno Marte (Rose), Sieglinde Beusser and Angelika Knobel (Ludwig).
