He was predeceased by : his step-son Kirk McIntyre; and his sister Pierrette Vanleeuwen. He is survived by : his wife Maryann; his children, Nicole Leblanc (Andre Pelletier), Guy Girardeau (Jennifer) and Norm Girardeau (Kristy); his step-children, Clifford McIntyre (Kim), Allan McIntrye (Lynn), Raymond McIntyre (Sue) and Kelly Van Osdol (Todd); his grandchildren, Micheline, Janelle, Haley, Katie, Natasha, Danielle, Melissa, Ashley, Jessica, Sara, Anna Rae, Gracie, Emily and Kyle; and his siblings, Gertrude Sukoluk, Paulette Pilon and Jackie Golden. He is also survived by his brothers-in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews and extended family.
