He is survived by: his wife Sandra Gaines; his sons, Gordon Jr. (Michelle), Randy (Tracy) and Scott (Stacey); his grandchildren, Amanda (Curtis), Nicholas, Emily (Chris), Nathan (Kelsey), Hayden (Grace) and Aliyah (Andrew); and his sister Lenora (Bert). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
