She was predeceased by: her husbands, Dieter Schirmuly and Jim Finley; her parents, Leslie Budarick and Christina Budarick (Wasmund); her siblings, Harvey (Fran), Ken (Doris), Melvin (Beverley), Lawrence and Berdina Best (Bill); and her pet Sassy.

She is survived by: her children, Monica Schirmuly (Toronto) and Markus Schirmuly (Patricia); her brother Milton Budarick (Rosemary); and her sister-in-law Norma Budarick.
