It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John Edward Houghton (Midland, Ontario), born in Chaplin, Saskatchewan, who passed away at the age of 91, on September 22, 2023. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Percival and Sarah (Bannman); his former life partner Geraldine; his sisters, Verna, Elsie and Alice; and his son Kenneth.

He is survived by : his close friend Bernadette; his children, John Jr. (Petch), Lynn and Ann (Douglas); his stepdaughters, Christie and Shelley; and his sister Patricia (Jagos-MacIssac, family: Kim, Paul, Christine). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, we will be accepting donations in Johns name to Hospice Huronia.
