It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Nix (Midland, Ontario), who passed away on January 8, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nancy Nix to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John; her children, Lisa Wilhelm (Sylvain) and Scott French; her grandchildren, Caleb and Christian; her parents, Harold Allen and Norma Van Allen; and her siblings, Sandra Downes, Suzanne Van Allen and Brenda Simson.

“We have just found out about the loss of our friend Nancy and were deeply saddened. Our sincere condolences to Nancy's family. We met Nancy and John in Sosua, DR so many years ago and had kept in touch. After our last visit before we left Sosua we never saw them again but dreamed of the day we would meet again. It was not meant to be. We so adored Nancy and we pray that she and John were reunited, perhaps at our favourite place, Checkpoint in the Sky. Love, Carolyn Madge and Colleen Misner.”
