She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Widdes; and her siblings, John and Margaret. She is survived by: her son Bob Widdes (Brenda); her grandchildren, Kim Molloy (Chris), Rob Widdes and Christa Phillips (Jason); and her great grandchildren, Rylie, Ian, Aleck and Tyler. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Nicholls Funeral Home (330 Midland Ave, Midland, ON L4R3K7). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In Lieu of Flowers donations can be made to the Georgian Bay General Hospital or a charity of your choice in memory of Jean.
