He is survived by: his wife Annette LaChapelle; his children, Rick LaChapelle (Cheryl), Helen LaChapelle and Chris LaChapelle (Dina); his sister-in-law Jane Boyce; and his grandchildren, Christine (Anna), Lauren (Tyler), Candice, Gillian, Jordan and Jory. He is also survived by his 12 great grandchildren.
