He was predeceased by : his parents, Phillip Seymore Thomas and Elizabeth May Bailey (Thomas); and his brother Len Thomas (Nancy). He is survived by : his wife Gloria Thomas; his grandchildren, Michael (Sarah), Alex, Devin, Hallee, Meadow and Ryder; and his great grandchildren, William, Nicholas and Claire.

Donations can be made in his name to Alzheimer's Society of Canada or Canadian Cancer Society.
