He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine Pilon; and his siblings, Alberta Pilon, Marie-Ange Chretien, Alcide (late Therese), Montfort (late Theresa), Alpha (late Martin), Yvette (late Lawrence) and Flora (late Arnel).

He is survived by: his significant other Kathy Bulgin; his children, Wendy (Morris Berriault) and Lloyd Pilon; and his grandson Brandon. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and friends.

Flowers are welcomed or a donation can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Georgian Bay General Hospital in memory of Remi.
