He is survived by: his wife Muriel Lesperance; his children, Brian Lesperance (Kim), Ron Lesperance, Tim Lesperance (Shelley) and Bonnie Dinsmore (Paul); his grandchildren, Ryan Lesperance, Carl Lesperance, Renee Pauze (Chris), Alec Lesperance and Sierra Snell (Dalton Hoskins); his great grandchildren, Harper, Livy Pauze and Brynlee Hoskins; his siblings, Leo Lesperance (late Estelle), Vivette Gignac (Martin), Anita Dillon (Neal) and Paul Lesperance (Mary); and his siblings-in-law, Armand Forget (Cecilia-Bunte), Rosaire Blondin (Frances), Marie Charlebois (late Chuck), Avela Parent (Frank), Germaine Waltenbury (late Brian), Lorraine Blondin (late Hans), Vincent Blondin (Nancy) and Madeleine Cote (Peter).
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (10 County Rd 6 S, Tiny, ON L0L2J0). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the North Simcoe Sports & Recreation Centre (527 Len Self Blvd, Midland, ON L4R5N6).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Richard may be made to St. Patrick's Church or the Canadian Cancer Society.
