He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Susan Phillips; his children, Vicki (Allan) and Greg (Jodi); his grandsons, Ian and Matthew; his brother Roland (Ruth); his sister-in-law Christine (Steve); and his sibling's children, Andrew, Sherri-Lynn, Charles and Beth.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nicholls Funeral Home (330 Midland Ave, Midland, ON L4R3K7). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.

Flowers are welcomed, if desired donations to the Elizabeth Fry Society or Shriners Children's Hospitals would be greatly appreciated by the family.
