He was predeceased by : his brother Don Speers; his parents, Bill Speers and Bernice Speers; and his parents-in-law, Nelson and Helen Dietz.
He is survived by : his wife Diane; his children, Bill Jr. (Lisa) of Formosa, Steve (Shelly) of Chesley and Chris (Christina) of Mildmay; his grandchildren, Rachel, Sebastian, Sawyer, Cooper and Ellie; his siblings, Doug (Donna) of Clifford, Marlene Fortney (Norbert) of Mildmay, Joyce Thomas (Paul Sanderson) of Fordwich, Ron (Cheryl) of Kitchener and Cheryl Brown (Tim) of Clifford; and his parents-in-law, Don Dietz (Lucille) of Kitchener, Jean Rogers (Skip) of Walkerton, Brenda Bross (Brian) of Mildmay, Sharon Randall (Dave) of Heidelburg and Glen Dietz (Patty) of Mildmay.
