She was predeceased by: her husband John; her son-in-law Wayne Deyarmond; her granddaughter Lisa Dawn Waechter; and her parents, John Keais and Margaret Keais.

She is survived by: her children, Janice Waechter (Paul), John (Nicole), Jayne Deyarmond, Rosemary Seegmiller (Dan), Jackie Keihl (Jurgen), Jill Wendt (Jim), James and Jeffrey (Sherrie); and her sister Beryl Keais. She is also survived by her nineteen grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (20 Peter St S, Mildmay, ON N0G2J0).

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Brucelea Haven Activation Fund would be appreciated by the family.
