He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Dee and Katherine Dee (Kierstead); and his siblings, Daryl, Bill, Brenda Jean and Penny Ann.
He is survived by: his wife Patti Dee (Lakhansingh); his son Jason Dee; his granddaughters, Isabelle and Abigail; and his brothers, Jim (Judy) and Dale.
