He was predeceased by : his brother Pearce. He is survived by : his wife Dorothy; his grandson Colin; his sister Bella Davidson (Brian); his nephew Brian Davidson (Fiona); and his great-nephews, Scott Davidson and Ross Davidson (Lauren).

“To Alex's family my sympathy for the lost of Alex. I worked with Alex at Superior Propane for over 10 years. We had so many laughs and great times. Alex was alway up to teasing and play jokes on us girls in the office. Our office Christmas party when Alex would wear his kilt. So many great memories. May you rest in peace Alex. Andra Jensen”
