He was predeceased by: his brother Federico (Carla) of Australia; Antonio of Italy, Arduvino of Italy and Giusefina of Italy. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Sincovich; his children, Anelio Sincovich (Antonietta), Elia Vigna (Mark) and Gino Sincovich (Iryna); his grandchildren, Brendan Sincovich, Jacqueline Sincovich, Dimitri Semenchenko and Alexander Semenchenko; and his sisters-in-law, Bianca and Graziella.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations in memory of Alviro can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Kidney Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation which would be appreciated by the family.
