She was predeceased by: her former husband Robert Newman (Bob); her husband Garnet Sault (Bill); her stepson David Sault; her parents, Robert Pearson and Christine Pearson; and her siblings, Margery, Paddy and Ian.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Newman (Lorraine), Donna Stark (Duane), Linda Scott and Susan Newman (Rod); her stepchildren, Debbie Matthews (Kerry), Diane Dubois (Bill) and Darryl Sault (Bimal); and her grandchildren, Chad (Jackie), Chris, Jessy (Caelan), Brittany (Derek), Jeff (Bronwyn), Justin, Sara, Alicia, Jenny (Brandon), Karl, Nick, Tarra, Kyle, Melanie (Austin), Dillon (Danielle), Chelsea, Michael, Nathan and Mackenzie.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McKersie & Early Funeral Home Ltd. (114 Main St E, Milton, ON L9T1N5). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Paul's United Church (123 Main St E, Milton, ON L9T1N4). A reception was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Granite Ridge Golf Club (9503 Dublin Line, Milton, ON L9T2X7).
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Townsend Smith Foundation, or Acclaim Health Halton, organizations that reflected her spirit of compassion and service. (Please see links below).
