She was predeceased by: her grandson Adam; her husband Murray May; her parents, Albert and Alice; and her siblings, Clifford and Leora.

She is survived by: her children, Rennie May and Michelle Wadden (Andrew); her grandchildren, Reanna, Dylan, Arielle and Halle; her great grandchildren, Jacius, Aaliyah and Zaiden; her sister Marion; and her sisters-in-law, Elsie and Shirley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations in memory of Clara to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
