She was predeceased by : her husband Robert Edmison (Bob); and her father David (David). She is survived by : her children, David Edmison, Michelle Edmison, Janet Shuttleworth (Kevin), Carolyn Edmison and Nancy Edmison (John); her grandchildren, Katy, Natasha, Brendan, Danielle, Lindsay, Christine, Robbie and Leeanna; her great grandchildren, Jayde and Mila; and her sister Jeannine (Elaine).

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McKersie & Early Funeral Home Ltd. (114 Main St E, Milton, ON L9T1N5). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Parish (139 Martin St, Milton, ON L9T2P3). A burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Sanctuary Park Cemetery (1567 Royal York Road Toronto, ON L9T2P3).

In lieu of flowers, although truly appreciated, memorial donations in Elaine's name may be made to Alzheimer Society of Canada.
