He was predeceased by: his wife Inge; his daughter Michele (Michael Woud); his son-in-law George Smith; and his siblings, Alfred Liske (Brigitte), Irene Liske and Eva Hegedus.

He is survived by: his children, Brigitte Smith, Sabine Liske (Ted Blacker) and Tom Liske (Rose); and his nieces, Karin, Christine and Wendy.

Those wishing to make a donation in honor of Karl, can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, which would be appreciated by the family.
