He was predeceased by: his parents, Greta Hopps and Arthur Hopps; and his sister Anne (Eddie). He is survived by: his wife Joan; his daughter Julie; his grandsons, Brendan (Abbey) and Josh (Renee); his siblings, Alan (Joyce) and Eleanor (Jim); his brother-in-law Dennis (Jane); and his nieces and nephews, Lesley (David), Adrienne (Steve), Andrew, Christoper (Kirsty), Stephen (Karen), Lynsey (Alan), Tracey (Luke) and Stacey (Michael).
