He was predeceased by: his father Jack Baynton; and his wife Donna Baynton. He is survived by: his children, Glenn (Jennifer Rolland) and Connie Gosè (Michael); his grandchildren, Taylor, Ashley and Oscar; his siblings, Daryl, Cheryl, Kevin, Gayle and Rick; his siblings-in-law, Sandra Dawe and Donald "George" Campbell (Judy); and his mother Arlene. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, his cousins, and many friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McKersie & Early Funeral Home Ltd. (114 Main St E, Milton, ON L9T1N5). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. John's Anglican Church (10009 Guelph Line, Milton, ON L0P). A reception was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. John's Anglican Church - Nassagaweya (10009 Guelph Line, Milton, ON L0P1B0).
